In Search of the Truth (The Truth Booth) is a touring installation that invites audiences to record their opinions and thoughts as they finish the statement: “The truth is…”. Throughout this long-term participatory project, the video footages are compiled and edited into a video artwork. The goal of this project is to capture as many possible definitions, confessions, and thoughts on the meaning of truth, creating a diverse portrait of people across the globe. It has traveled to Afghanistan, Ireland, and South Africa, and toured the United States ahead of the presidential election in 2016.
