All Power to All People is a larger than life steel sculpture of the iconic Afro Pick. An Afro pick exists today as many things to different people: it is worn as adornment, a political emblem, and/or signature of collective identity. This monument was placed as a symbol to highlight ideas related to community, strength, perseverance, comradeship, and resistance to oppression.

The smaller version was temporarily installed in 2017 as part of Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Monument Lab program in the Thomas Paine Plaza of City Hall in Philadelphia, PA, right next to a now-removed Frank Rizzo statue. The larger version made its debut at Burning Man in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert in 2018 and continues to be toured as part of Kindred Arts public art initiative.
